MPC Policies

Making Perfect Cents creates each piece in a custom manner. The policies below explain sizing, fit, production, shipping, care, returns, and other important details for your order.

Ring Sizing & Resizing

We suggest having your fingers professionally sized prior to placing your order. MPC uses professional jeweler tools so there are no mistakes.

All rings come with lifetime resizing, one size up or down, only if the ring remains within the applicable sizing range. Resizing is FREE. You are responsible only for shipping the ring to and from our shop.

Coin Ring Shape & Fit

Due to the process of turning a coin into a ring, a taper or cone shape will be present. The reeded edge, or factory edge as we call it, is much thicker than the center of the coin. Once punched and folded, the center becomes one side of the band.

You cannot ever remove the taper fully. However, we can shape the ring so that the taper is hidden within the inner band. MPC sizes rings using the reeded edge, then slowly raises the thinner center edge so that the taper is on the inner band. Once placed on your finger, the taper is completely hidden.

The taper can be seen only if you are looking from the punched center edge toward the reeded edge; otherwise it is hidden. This causes one side of the ring to be a bit larger than the other.

Made-to-Order & Processing

All orders take 1–3 weeks to create once your order is placed. Please keep this in mind and plan your orders accordingly if your piece needs to arrive by a certain date. We always do our best to process orders as quickly as possible, and if we can lessen this time, we do.

Shipping

Most orders arrive 5–7 days once shipped. International orders can, of course, take much longer due to customs delays.

All U.S. packages are sent USPS First Class as our standard shipping method. Faster services, such as USPS Priority, are offered at additional cost.

All international packages are sent USPS First Class International with insurance as our standard shipping method. Faster services are offered at additional cost.

International Customs & Import Taxes

For U.S. deliveries, MPC policy requires that import duties and fees are included in the checkout price. Non-U.S. buyers may need to pay these fees upon delivery. You can message MPC to confirm how these fees will be paid for your order.

MPC is not responsible for customs-related delays.

Returns & Exchanges

Since MPC creates each piece in a custom manner, we do not accept returns or exchanges. Please contact us if you have any problems with your order.

Cancellations

Cancellations are not accepted. Please contact us if you have any problems with your order.

Packaging & Care

We gently tuck your item into a tin clear-top gift box, ready to be gifted as soon as your package is opened. Your purchase also includes care instructions that provide the details to help make your items last a lifetime.

For ring purchases, a petite polishing cloth is also included so you can keep that vibrant shine with just a gentle wipe.
